Athletics
Athletics are an important part of City Christian Schools. We view athletics as an excellent opportunity to build Christian character in an individual. Organized athletics enhance character development and maturity. As a result our students are taught to display Christian attitude and attain discipline through consistent practice, leadership from their coaches and by working together as a team.
We are a member of OSAA and participate against both private and public schools at the 1A level. We offer soccer and volleyball in the fall; basketball in the winter; and golf in the spring. We have been successful in sending our boys’ soccer team and our boys and girls’ basketball teams to State competitions over the past years. In the junior high, we offer soccer and volleyball in the fall and basketball in the winter. In the elementary, we offer 5th and 6th grade volleyball and basketball.
